This institution is the foundation of intellectual growth and development and the foundation of maturity and realization of human capacities. Therefore, school administrators must have the necessary skills to successfully carry out this important task. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of building and validating a tool for measuring the dimensions of the competencies of elementary school principals. The statistical population was all principals of elementary schools in Tehran city, using the cluster sampling method (which is based on clusters, educational areas), based on Morgan's table, the number of 462 people was estimated for sampling at each stage. That is, in two stages, 462 people were selected as samples in the first stage and 462 people in the second stage by random sampling method. In the first stage, the data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, with Orthogonal Varimax factor rotation method with SPSS26 software. In the second step, the data was analyzed using second-order confirmatory factor analysis and through PLS software. The results of the present research showed that the questionnaire intended to study the competence of school administrators has a seven-factor structure including: 1- knowledge competence, 2- professional competence, 3- personality traits, 4- executive competence, 5- leadership, 6 - Communication and 7- perceptive competence. | ||
